The morning meal was a highlight for me. Pat cooked breakfast each day, with cut fruit beyond just melons, toast, a savory entree, tea, coffee, juice, and cereal. She was also lovely to talk with. I stayed four nights and was glad I chose this place instead of a faceless hotel chain. The house has antique furniture, historic photos of Long Beach, and a cozy feel. If you like historic homes, you’ll be charmed. The location is fantastic, about a 10 minute walk to the beach. My room was comfortable, very clean, and had everything I needed, even a cute little iron and ironing board. I was on the south side of the building, so there was some street noise from Broadway, but earplugs helped and I slept fine. The key code for both the front door and my room meant I didn’t have to worry about losing a key or card. Highly recommend.

Miss Pat and her family are genuinely lovely, and the property is gorgeous and very clean. We had fantastic hospitality and a great location. If we’re in Long Beach again, we’ll happily book here.

Breakfast was varied and made with care, and Pat was a lovely, unobtrusive host. We were so glad she shared her home with us. It’s a wonderful old house with a cozy atmosphere, nicely decorated clean rooms, and a great location close to the beach and not far from Downtown Long Beach.

Pat and her daughter made wonderful hosts, sharing dining tips and having lively conversations. The rooms were clean and comfortable in a quaint setting, and the location and accommodations were excellent. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Long Beach, and I’m looking forward to returning to the Beach Runner's Inn. Thank you!

Pat’s hospitality made the Inn a saving grace for my two sisters and me while we were dealing with a family matter, complicated by another family matter and all the stress that came with it. Her home is charming, and the location is ideal. We walked to dinner, I took a long beach walk just 3 blocks away, and breakfast was delicious. The Beachrunners' Inn was exactly what we needed. I felt at home, and my mind, body, and spirit were grateful.
