It’s an older motel that’s had some updates. The rooms were clean, had Keurig coffee machines, and offered decent storage. There’s no AC, but that wasn’t an issue for our January visit. We could bring our dog, and they lent us a couple of bowls after we forgot his at home. The closest public patch of grass is behind the motel across the street, which our dog didn’t seem to mind. My wife and I like visiting in the off-season, usually midweek. The rates are great, and it tends to be more peaceful.

We brought a griddle and cooked our own food, and it was handy having a kitchen sink to wash the dishes. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quieter than I expected, given the noisy car people staying there. The bathtub was deep, and the water stayed plenty hot for a long soak.

Everything was clean, and my bed was comfortable. The rooms are spacious, with kitchenettes that have dishes. The motel is just a block off the main strip, close enough to walk everywhere while still away from the noise. The staff know the area and are friendly. I’ll be back!

This is our favorite place to stay. The rooms are clean, and the staff are so friendly. They never question us bringing our service dog. It’s one block from downtown and two or three blocks from the beach. In spring and summer, deer visit every day.

The walls are paper thin. There were people upstairs with a dog, and we could hear it walking around and playing all night. They don’t offer continental breakfast anymore, and if you run into a problem after 7 p.m., you’re given a number that connects you to someone on the East Coast. Very low class!
