Service really impressed us, from the smooth valet handoff to the staff in general. We'd left our luggage in the room while we had lunch, texted to request the car, and by the time we got to valet they already knew the bags were in the vehicle, placed just the way my wife likes them. I've sent the same sort of message at other properties and it never went this smoothly. Our Bonvoy status also got us a nice upgrade to a better view. The hotel itself is impressive, with a great lazy river, a pool overlooking the beach and, depending on the timing, a calm, clear beach for somewhere outside the Caribbean. Pool service was efficient, though some drinks tasted watered down. Food was the weak point. We ate around the property, not at CW Prime, and found most meals average for St. Regis prices. My son judges food by the fries, and said they weren't cut on site and weren't very good for pre-packed fries. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, although the service there was only okay. Management should take a close look at dining, since it's the main thing that needs improvement.

We loved Aura and Brett, and the hostess even remembered us, which made the place feel welcoming. Brett was quick with everything. Sarah, Nick S., Jillian, and Anne all took great care of us, and the room and butler service were top-notch. At the spa, Annamarie went out of her way to help me feel comfortable and relaxed. There was a small shower problem, but it got fixed promptly. From arrival through departure, the stay felt special.

For my birthday, they surprised me with a lovely cake and a chocolate stingray. Ian deserves a special shoutout for being such an exceptional person. We also loved every meal, and the restaurants were incredible. The rooms are gorgeous, with direct access to the beach, and the modern yet charming pool has a lazy river. If I could, I'd give this place 10 stars. Easily Florida's best resort.

We had a wonderful week at the St. Regis Longboat Key and can't wait to return. The service stood out from arrival on, polished and so attentive that you never needed to ask twice. Carmelo and Jenny at the pool were especially kind, and made our one-year-old feel right at home. Room service was consistently prompt and flawless, and the drinks were expertly made every time. The restaurants were very good, above average, though they weren't the highlight of our stay.

The kids had so much fun in the amazing pool, and the pool service was just as good. We also had a treat of a meal at Riba, with delicious food and attentive staff who accommodated our allergies and preferences. The resort is beautiful. The one real drawback was room service: some items took forever, and even though we called to ask for the room to be cleaned before we went out, it still hadn't been serviced when we returned hours later.
