Days Inn by Wyndham Longview South

It's a very nice place, and management should be proud of what they've done. The young woman who checked me in was exceptionally friendly and informative. Thanks to the whole family that runs this Day's Inn.

I checked out just minutes after checking in. I'd booked the hotel for myself and my two babies, then arrived to find drunk men passed out outside my room in the late afternoon, surrounded by empty beer bottles. Management told me they were workers, which somehow made it worse. When I asked for a refund, they charged me a cancellation fee equal to the room price. I've never before felt that a business had stolen from me.

I've usually had a good time here, and I've stayed multiple times with visitors. I don't see why a motel or hotel would say guests can't have visitors when I've had them before. At check-in, the man repeated “no smoking” five times, even though I'd stayed there before. I finally told him I heard him the first time and to stop repeating himself. After I paid $200 for two days, he then asked for a $50 deposit, even though I had cash. I told him I wasn't giving him any more money.

This was my first stay here while visiting my best friend, and I'll use the hotel again next time. The lobby and room were really clean, there were fresh sheets on the bed, and everyone was so nice.
