The breakfast had plenty of good options, and the staff were friendly. But the first room we were assigned hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. The person on duty apologized and moved us to another room. The manager was supposed to contact us after checkout and never did. The next morning I got an apology email from the director of sales and operations. I’m unsure about staying here again because the location’s manager didn’t follow through on the communication we were promised.

The general manager was very welcoming, and the room was comfortable and clean. That bathroom lighting deserves a mention too. Hotel bathrooms often make putting on makeup a hassle, but the light here was great. The Hilton app made check-in and checkout simple, so I could go straight to my room. It’s convenient, and I’d absolutely stay here again for work.

Breakfast was a bright spot, with sausage, omelets, and waffles, and they apparently change the menu daily. The staff were kind and apologetic when we told them the History Channel was showing how condoms are made while kids were in the dining area. They changed it right away. My 21 year old son was with us, and even he found the footage of pig intestines being made into condoms too much. Management should pick something child friendly or less gory and check what’s scheduled that morning. The room itself was awful. The air wouldn’t work, and it stayed hot and muggy. The thermostat just said “waiting” and never changed. After a 14 hour drive we were too tired to pack up and switch rooms, so we put up with it. The walls were thin, and we could hear every bathroom movement. The barn style bathroom doors also seem risky for small kids’ fingers. The elevator cables popped, and the elevators jerked, so management should have service check them.

Kaynesha was wonderful at the front desk, very courteous, professional, and ready to help. She knows how to solve problems and clearly understands customer service. Hilton should seriously consider making her a manager.

We travel between Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas at least seven times a year, and Cabot Hampton Inn used to be where we stopped for the night. That won’t be our choice anymore after how Tori treated us. My husband is a Silver Hilton Honors Member. I had booked two rooms for September 17 and two for September 20, 2025, one for us and one for the couple traveling with us. On the 17th, my husband checked us in and showed our Service Dog card without any trouble. On September 20, Tori wouldn’t check him in without seeing me. He came out to the truck for my driver’s license, then went back inside, but she still said she needed to “put eyes” on me. I went in and she asked what kind of service I needed the dog for. I gave her my card and offered the number to call, but she said she could ask what service the dog was used for. She printed paperwork we’d never been asked to sign before, requested our vehicle’s license plate number, and gave me a form asking what service my dog provided. I signed but left that answer blank. Tori was very rude until two other people came in behind us to wait for help. After the front desk fiasco, she sent me a text asking, “How’s everything so far?” I’ve made most of our reservations myself and never had this kind of problem before, or received a check-in text from a Hampton Inn employee. There are other hotels in or near Cabot, and we’ll choose one of those from now on.
