The peaceful grounds and flower gardens were the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful stay. I loved the Victorian house details, especially the clawfoot tubs and lovely woodwork. In the evenings we could hear frogs, and the songbirds greeted us in the morning. We arrived late and found that someone else had been given the room we requested. It was an honest mistake, and the owner went above and beyond by upgrading us to room 6. Lopez Island is so peaceful. We’ll be back!

Anthony made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make our trip great. He shared lots of tips on places to see, plus information about fishing and crabbing around the island. The rooms were clean, the beds really comfortable, and it was a great base for exploring, even in the off-season. Do keep in mind that restaurant options on the island are limited in winter, so plan ahead. We’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

A bit dated, but that old-school feel suits Lopez. Many rooms have a fireplace, which is just right on a cold night. Service is top-notch, even leaving an actual room key on the desk for arrivals after 4. A safe, quiet spot away from the city.

Charming and comfortable, with an ideal location for biking and everything within walking distance. You can’t go wrong with the rooms or cottages. After a winter ride, the fireplace and comfortable bed were especially welcome.

We found it quiet, comfortable, accommodating, and definitely classy. There were extra sheets and blankets for the hide-a-bed, and there was no extra charge for the kids. We’d definitely recommend it to other people visiting Lopez.
