Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast

The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful, and we had warm coffee, a tasty breakfast, and a cool breeze in the gazebo. The room was lovely, with so many fun details, and the whole stay was delightful. My husband has been a Tolkien fan all his life and has talked for decades about wanting to live in a hobbit hole. Once I learned the Victorian Mansion B&B had one, we had to go. We’ll definitely come back and try the other suites. The mix of sophistication and whimsy made it a life affirming getaway.

Rod helped me put together a surprise weekend for my wife, and it turned out wonderfully. We loved every minute of the stay. The extras were well worth the price. It was a blast.

After 20 years, this place is still fabulous, maybe even better. I first stayed in the PIRATE ROOM at the Victorian Mansion and loved it, then finally made it back recently. This time I had the GYPSY ROOM, and it was amazing. The forest themed room has stone details around a very deep soaking tub, incredible wall murals, and a bed inside a caravan. The private bathroom continues the gypsy theme on the tiled walls. I'm an artist, and those murals were some of the most amazing I've seen. The caravan bed and deep tub might be a bit challenging if you have mobility issues. Breakfast is delivered to your room and was to die for. I'm vegan, and they easily and graciously brought me fresh, delicious breakfasts each morning. I couldn't finish everything at once and saved some baked goods for later. I loved being able to have breakfast delivered until 9:45a, so I didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn on vacation. Such a treat, and I'm grateful they let me sleep in. There's no cable TV in the room, but there is a TV/DVD player and a few themed DVDs, which is what I watched. When I visited in Fall 2025, there was no designated lobby or front desk because remodeling was underway and they were adding fun rooms. Check-in was outside the back door. Staff leave around 6pm but can be reached by phone at any time. A shout out to DENISE, who was a wonderful, helpful, attentive hostess. She also brought me hot water for evening tea, which I really appreciated. I can't wait to come back and try every room in the Mansion.

We love coming here for a relaxing couples getaway. We've been visiting for the past 4-5 years and try to make it twice a year. It's so much fun 😊
