Best Western Canoga Park Motor Inn

The room was quiet even though there was plenty going on outside, and I felt safe in the area. My bed was really comfortable and the room felt clean. The building looks older, though it's clearly looked after. Everyone I dealt with was kind, helpful, and efficient. I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee, too. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the stay and would come back on my next work trip.

The internet kept dropping, so I had to log back in over and over, and the speed was inconsistent. It improved later at night and early in the morning, but they really need more bandwidth. I also skipped breakfast because they said there'd be a $15 charge to take it back to my room. Aside from that, I had a pleasant stay at the discounted price. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I appreciated that the cleaning staff didn't knock early to check whether I'd left. My room had a large tub, comfortable pillows, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and complimentary items that even included a sewing kit I needed. The Village Cafe next door delivers to the room. There's also a bowling alley and bar nearby, but I missed it because it closed earlier than its posted hours.

I like the Canoga Park Best Western in particular because it's connected to the Winnetka bowling alley. Best Western is a great hotel chain with locations throughout California.
