Empire Inn Motel

The rooms are spacious and really nice, with a relaxing feel. I wanted to spend the rest of my weekend there.

They cancelled a booking I’d made SIX MONTHS ahead, just two days before the stay. I had to scramble to find somewhere else before my trip. Their explanation was that they planned to use the hotel as a homeless shelter. That would have been fine if they’d followed through, but rooms for my dates were still available on their site for three times the price. Awful customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE, they may cancel within 48 hours and try to sell you a room at 3x the rate.

We needed somewhere for just one night and there weren’t many choices, so we booked this Motel after seeing availability. I was a bit unsure at first, but ended up pleased. The staff were very nice, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and there’s a 7-11 and McDonald’s just around the corner.

I found Empire Inn late on a Friday night when I needed one night for myself and the RV repair guys, so we could shower and get some much-needed rest away from the RV. It was just over $100 for four people and two beds. I was surprised by how spacious and nice the room was. The bathroom stood out, it was bigger than most around there, and the tub had a new shower head with multiple settings and plenty of hot water for everyone. I’m happy I found this place and will be back.
