Hollywood Orchid Suites

The rooftop patio is a real highlight, with a pretty nice view, and there’s laundry on site if you’re staying longer. We loved the charming lobby and pool, too. The walls are thin, but it didn’t bother us during our three-night stay. Rooms on the front can get noisy from the street, especially when there’s something on at the Dolby next door. The location worked perfectly for Hollywood, with a short rideshare to the sights and fairly cheap parking if you bring a car. The staff were great. The concierge and breakfast coordinator really seemed to care that we enjoyed ourselves. We’d absolutely stay again. Hollywood Orchid felt like a home away from home.

We had a rental car and still appreciated the private, secured off-street parking. We also got our laundry done without needing to leave and find somewhere down the street. The location is hard to beat: Dolby Theatre is less than a minute away on foot, and Hollywood Blvd is about a five-minute walk. From there, you’re right in the middle of everything. We spent about seven days here on our honeymoon. The room was clean and tidy, and the floorboards gave it a fresh look. Room service was good, and everyone we met was kind.

We’ve already booked another stay for February. The staff were wonderful, especially Patricia, and the room was very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a good continental spread each morning. The location made getting around easy, with Hollywood Blvd one block away, Universal Studios about six minutes away, and Warner Bros. studio around ten minutes away. There are plenty of different restaurants nearby. We had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

Whoever runs the place seems to know how to make guests comfortable. Our five-person family stayed in a two-bedroom room that felt like a good-sized apartment. It had two double beds, a rollaway, comfortable pillows and beds, and a full kitchen for simple meals or reheating leftovers. We chose Hollywood Orchid Suites for its good reviews and walkable Hollywood location. One tip: call the hotel for the price first. The rate they offered us was much cheaper than the travel agent websites.
