Hotel Rudra - Hollywood

The front desk staff were really helpful, and the wall paintings are nice, with pictures that remind you of the legends. The hotel is small, with very few rooms and no restaurant service. The rooms are nice and big, including the washroom, and there's good storage, a locker, an iron, and a TV. There was no tea or coffee in the room, though, and no electric kettle. They provide bath soap and shampoo, but you have to request a dental kit. Cleaning wasn't up to the mark, and you have to request it; my washroom basin was clogged. Location is the best part. The hotel is right in the heart of Hollywood highland. Dolby, The chinese, and egyptian theaters are all walking distance, as is the Wax museum. The Hollywood walk of fame is about a minute away, and you can see the Hollywood sound from the Ovion plaza. There are lots of restaurants and street food nearby, plus McDonald's and a 7/11.

The location is great, and there are free hot drinks. It's a no-frills hotel, though: no facilities, hangers, laundry machine, wardrobe, soundproofing, or night curtain. The bathroom was a bit mouldy.

The location worked perfectly for what I needed, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. I felt safe and looked after throughout my stay. From arrival, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was quick and smooth, which I appreciated after a long journey. I highly recommend it if you're looking for comfort, luxury, and great service. Can't wait to come back!

We used to live in Hollywood, so we know how much a good location matters. This was finally the right Hollywood hotel for us: quiet, comfortable, very clean, and hospitable. Hollywood and Highland's food, drinks, and shops are all within walking distance. Highly recommend it.
