The staff made my stay on an unusually rainy LA night feel completely comfortable. They were so sweet and accommodating. The room was seriously the best I've found in the area, and the place felt quiet and tucked away even though it's right in the heart of everything. Surprisingly clean and neat for the price, too. Phenomenal value. This is my new go-to!

Stay away, this place was crawling with spiders. We thought we'd found a cute, newly remodeled spot, but the room was a disgusting mess and looked like nobody had checked on it in ages. The floors were dirty. We thought we could live with that, then saw pet hair on the dirty sheets and figured we'd ask for fresh bedding. The dark gray mattresses made it hard to tell about bed bugs. The bathroom's farmhouse door stuck and wouldn't open or close properly. There was no fan, no toilet paper, and dust everywhere. Then we found spiders all over the baseboards and nightstands, and under the beds. Behind the mini fridge was dirty underwear caught in a huge web, with a big black spider sitting there. We had at least 10 large spiders in the room and lots of little ones going in and out of the electrical outlets. Staff offered to sweep them up so we could stay. When we said we didn't feel safe with young kids, they offered one free night. We said we weren't staying in that room, and they suggested another property across town. They wouldn't tell us its name until we agreed. Once we got it, that place was worse. We had to push to get a refund, then booked another hotel 20minutes away. We'd rather drive 30-40minutes to and from universal than stay here. Total nightmare, honestly. We had to advocate for our refund, and this place did not feel safe.

We come into town almost every week and stay here. The service is great, the prices are good, and the rooms are always clean. We've tried lots of other hotels nearby, but this one is our favorite by far. Highly recommend.

After a week here, I’d happily book it again for a longer solo stay. The family who run the place were welcoming, and the cleaning staff were pleasant and quick to help whenever I needed anything. My room was cleaned really well, and it was comfortable, spotless, and fitted out with brand-new interiors.
