We were lucky enough to get tickets to the 2026 Grammy's and stayed at Moxy. Our upgraded CityView room had a beautiful, sexy feel, and the location was perfect. Moxy makes smart use of its small rooms, though I wouldn’t suggest a long stay unless you’re traveling solo. The hotel eateries and lounge spaces have a great atmosphere and get lots of attention. We’ve also stayed at the Moxy Miami, and now L.A. is on our list too. I adore this hotel for quick trips and will keep coming back.

The staff made this stay stand out, from check-in through check-out they were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We also got a room upgrade, and the view was incredible. The room was stylish and comfortable, with that fun Moxy feel. Between the atmosphere, service, and views, it was an easy five-star stay at the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting DTLA.

I slept well on the quiet 32nd floor, and the staff were nice. The shower, view, and location were the best parts for me. There wasn’t a table or closet for dress clothes, and some hangers would’ve helped. The TV design also blocks the view, so I’d rethink that. If you’re into a good hipster hotel, you’ll love this place.

The rooftop bars have a lively feel and incredible city views, and the restaurants on site are great too. The pool areas also look out over a spectacular skyline and have a nice mix of energy and relaxation. With everything downtown just steps away, the location is hard to beat, whether you’re exploring, unwinding, or heading out at night. Beautiful views and a great atmosphere made this a terrific stay. My only complaint is that their valet service sucks and they won’t take bug trucks. I parked my truck in their storage without any problems.

I moved to Atlanta from California years ago, and one of my ATL “little” sisters had never visited California. She met me in Carlsbad, then we went to LA the next day, so I only had 48 hours to show her around. We stayed at the Moxy and loved the corner room with its city view, along with the rooftop bar. The customer service was exemplary. She wants to come back since there’s still so much more to see and do, and the Moxy will be our choice when we return.
