Park Motel

There was a foul smell, loud neighbors, and in the middle of the night I saw people buying drugs in the parking lot. I couldn't sleep. The staff were rude and told me to shut up when I kept asking about the roaches in my bed. I counted at least seven. After seeing a TikTok about checking for bedbugs, I wondered if there were any too, and sure enough, there were a lot. My husband and I woke up with bites and scratches on our backs, and I got very sick after I came home. Don't stay here unless you want to sleep with bugs and get sick.

The service was awful. I found blood in the sink, then woke up to roaches in the bed.

Rocky made the stay for us. He was respectful, helpful, and genuinely hospitable, which was a welcome change from our experiences at other motels. We stayed for a few weeks, and check-in was quick. The rooms are surprisingly large for a small motel, and though the building is older, everything worked. Each room also has a refrigerator and microwave. Park Motel is a quiet little place in Studio City, right by Coldwater Canyon and Ventura Blvd. You can spot the olive-green building easily. My fiance and I were a little concerned by the look of the place when we first drove up, but that turned out to be a false impression. The price is average and could be a little better, but having an owner like Rocky made it worthwhile. If you want a low-key motel where people leave you alone and aren't pestering you every few minutes before checkout, this is a good choice. Highly recommended!

I came across this in a video and decided to see for myself. There were roaches and bedbugs, plus blood and hair in the sink and on the pillows. Someone nearby was drilling or making some kind of noise, I'm not sure what it was and didn't want to find out. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
