Quality Inn Near Hollywood Walk of Fame

The location made this four-night stay especially convenient. We could walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, the metro, nearby restaurants, and an In-N-Out. Secure underground parking was free, a big plus in this part of town, and check-in was smooth with friendly staff. Breakfast came with the stay, and the fresh waffles were a highlight. Our room was clean and had a microwave, fridge, and ironing gear. The fridge could've been colder and the AC was somewhat noisy, but we were still very comfortable. Great value for the price and location.

The room was clean, but that was the only good part for me. Parking was a mess, with too few spaces and a lot of difficulty driving through it. The bed was awful, and sound carried straight through the walls. I could even smell someone smoking outside because the seals were so poor. The receptionist was rude and the place felt so unwelcoming that I couldn't wait to leave. I usually only need a bed and don't complain easily, but this stay made me realize hotel quality matters to me. I wouldn't stay here again.

Free breakfast and parking were nice bonuses, and we could walk to nearly all the major places we wanted to reach. The room was comfortable, the service was good, and the whole stay turned out better than we expected. We felt it was well worth the price and would gladly recommend the hotel.

The room itself was spacious, clean, and fine, and the location was okay, though this side of West Hollywood felt a little sketchy. We could hear and smell things from inside, including someone smoking weed. The lobby staff were helpful enough, if not especially welcoming. I gave service one star because of the man at the waffle station. He greeted other guests and offered them waffles, but not us. When I asked, he started two for us and handed one over. Then two women arrived, and he warmly told them he was making waffles just for them. He gave my friend's waffle to one of them, and after I reminded him we were waiting and in a rush, he gave the next finished waffle to another woman too. I lost my appetite and gave my waffle to my friend. As we left, he called after us to wait three more minutes, but I kept walking. We were all hotel guests, and I shouldn't have been treated like a second-class citizen. I won't return, and I hope he treats people equally in the future, regardless of skin tone.
