The Moment Hotel

The room was clean, the bed cozy, and the blackout shade let me sleep in. Late checkout, free coffee, reasonable price, and a location right across from guitar center were all nice touches. The hotel is unique and super clean, and the cleaning staff deserve credit. The front desk woman with dark hair and tattoos on her arms was especially welcoming and accommodating throughout check-in and checkout. I forgot her name. The upstairs outdoor bar and indoor bar were closed during my stay, which was a shame because the setup looked so cool and I would’ve liked to enjoy them. Nothing negative to say otherwise, five solid stars.

Omg, I freaking loved staying at moment. If you’re going to LA to party, it’s perfect. You can take a short scooter ride to the clubs, and AMAZING restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were great too. I accidentally left my Switch in the room, and they made sure I got it back after I’d left. I’ll definitely come back every time I’m in Hollywood :)

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, though the style and furnishings are unusual. Sound carries a lot, so you can hear conversations from rooms above and beside you. I also didn’t like having to pay for parking at the hotel.

We found the hotel’s location ideal: it felt safe, was walkable to Hollywood Blvd and affordable places to eat, and was a decent drive from other parts of L.A. The room was clean, though small and clearly worn, and there was plenty of street noise at night. Neither the rooftop nor the indoor bar was operating. For the price and amenities, it felt more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel. I thought the cost was a bit high compared with similar places I’ve stayed.
