Top Hat Motel

The owner was extremely courteous and kind. The room was clean and comfortable, and I walked into a pleasant smell of bleach, which made me feel I could relax and unwind. It was quiet, private, and affordable. I'd recommend it for a night or a temporary stay. Thanks for having me, Room 110 👍🏽X👍🏽

Sargai here, saying don't tip yours at the top hat. This was easily the "wildest" place I've ever stayed. Bugs might be a problem if you don't want to share your bed with them, though they didn't hog the covers all night! Customer service was poor too. If you could afford decent service, you probably wouldn't stay here. I'd strongly suggest going somewhere else. What's 5-10 more dollars if it saves you from needing nerve medication?

The room was filthy from the walls to the floors and bathroom, and it didn't match what was advertised online. There were roachesssss everywhere. I killed two, but more kept showing up. When I asked the manager for another room, he was very hostile. I felt overcharged, and I'm going to assume it's discriminatory. I became extremely uncomfortable and unsatisfied, so I demanded a refund but couldn't get one. I was charged $100 and told I'd only get 30 dollars back. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room they first offered had blood on the bedspread and hair on the sheets. There were gang signs carved into the TV, fridge, heater/ac unit, and bathroom mirror, dirt and stains everywhere, a filthy shower, and a broken bathroom door that wouldn't shut. There was nowhere to park, and the service was terrible. When I asked for another room, they offered one that smelled terrible, had no bathroom door, and had water and hair all over the floor. I asked about getting a discount that night, but the owner claimed not to remember the next morning. The rooms were so nasty and poorly maintained, I don't think they should be in business. The fire alarms weren't even working. This was the worst experience I've ever had at any motel. The owners don't keep up with the rooms or even seem to inspect them before renting them out.
