The owners were so kind and welcoming, and the property was quiet, safe-feeling, and cozy, with great prices. After I checked out, they called me just two minutes later to say I’d left my wallet in the room. They saved my life. Seriously great hospitality.

My husband had a restful night and was pleased with the accommodations. I booked by phone for his overnight stop on the way from Oregon to Long Beach, and the woman who took the booking was very nice. Check-in was easy, and the couple at the front desk were pleasant. His room was clean, the bed comfortable, and everything worked and was in good shape. He was towing an 18 foot trailer and found it easy to park in the ample lot, which also has space for semi trucks and RVs. The road was a little noisy, but he slept well, and the room was very affordable.

The man at the front desk was very kind and friendly, and I loved the warm feel and all the plants. It’s definitely a lower-budget motel, but we found it more charming and comfortable than the big chain motels. We had a lovely stay.

The front desk was gracious and quick to respond. My room was quite comfortable, the AC and mini fridge both worked well, and the shower was good. A single room cost a little over $90, which seemed reasonable.

The Maple inn feels safe to me and has lots of parking for RVs and semis. The beds are comfortable, and the water is hot. Just right when you’re passing through town.
