Toll House Hotel Los Gatos

Sharice at the front desk was fantastic, and the rest of the staff were genuinely lovely. The hotel’s location on Santa Cruz Avenue in Los Gatos was super convenient. My room was spacious and clean, although the furniture felt dated. Parking was easy, and I appreciated that it wasn’t too busy. The lobby furniture could use a little updating. A solid stay!

We got a very fair early check-in, and when a couple of things went wrong in our room, the staff responded quickly and sorted them out. The rooms and hotel were clean and generally quiet, and the staff were friendly and respectful. The hotel is at the far end of downtown Los Gatos, with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars a short walk away. I would stay again. One thing I hadn’t known until check-in: the hotel restaurant and bar were closed from Dec 24th through Jan 3rd for the Christmas holiday.

The common areas were beautifully done, and the whole hotel felt welcoming and peaceful. Sharice at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. Parking was easy too. We had a lovely quick trip to Los Gatos and stayed at the hotel on Santa Cruz Avenue. I’d definitely recommend it!

The young woman at the front desk deserves 6 stars. She’s friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to, exactly the face you want representing a business. Whatever they pay her, it’s not enough. We’ve stayed here twice while having medical procedures at Stanford. The hotel is in a lovely Los Gatos neighborhood, within walking distance of plenty of shops and good restaurants. I only gave the location 4 stars because it’s close to the freeway, though I slept fine. If we return for possible future procedures, we’ll stay at the Toll House Hotel.
