Days Inn by Wyndham Louisburg

I’ve never stayed anywhere this dirty. Our first room smelled of smoke, and the chair seat and bed sheet had what looked like pet hair and white stains. We switched rooms, but there was hair on the bed there too, and the tub was completely dirty. There were orange pee stains on the back of the toilet seat. Just nasty.

We found bugs in the unclean room, and there were barely any pillows. In the bathroom, there was also a straw cut in half with what looked like white residue from drug use. We almost left late the night before, but tried to stay. By 7am we were heading home. Not a good experience, and I won’t be back.

I felt very unsafe, honestly. There was no staff working late, while people yelled and screamed all night with nobody to ask them to stop. The sheets were dirty and smelled bad, and there was no hot water. They also asked me to pay cash and gave me no receipt. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

My family lives there, and frankly the rooms aren’t worth $2000 a month. There’s no stove, so you can’t cook, and although there’s a pool, they won’t clean it. They can’t keep maintenance workers because they don’t want to pay them properly. The place smells, the windows are screwed shut, and the carpets are dirty. If people pay that much for somewhere to live, they should have some comfort. The owners should be ashamed. When they serve breakfast, you can’t take it to your room, even though you’re paying all that money. People should remember it’s for the Needy, not the Greedy.
