Candlewood Suites Louisville Airport by IHG

We had booked late for a trip to the heartscape expo, so there weren’t many hotel options left. The room’s layout worked well for getting work done, and the living room was nice for relaxing afterward. The bed was comfortable, but the coffee pot was broken. The place is old and run-down, with worn rooms and small, shabby towels. Front desk staff seemed put out by requests and weren’t eager to help.

They accused me of taking a frying pan, even though I didn’t cook anything during my four-night stay. I ordered pizza one evening and Chinese takeout another, and only used a plate, two forks, and dishwasher detergent to wash my dishes before leaving. Get a detailed list of what’s in the room and check it when you arrive, or they may charge you for missing items and say you stole them.

Danitza was so helpful, and the room was clean and packed with amenities: a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and two-burner cooktop. It’s a nice place for the price. Thank you!

I spent a week at Candlewood while my truck was being repaired at Kenworth. The room was very clean, and having a full-size fridge and cooking utensils was handy. They also had free coffee, laundry, and exercise equipment. The front desk staff were very nice.
