We’ve been visiting for four years and plan to keep coming back. It’s a great place for a family, with clean elevators and easy parking. The pools and hot tub are nice, and there are outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach.

Room 1709 was nicely decorated and had a beautiful view, but it wasn’t worth what we paid. The floors were so filthy that after an hour walking around, our feet would’ve been disgusting. Keep your shoes on. At night in November, the beds were cold with only two sheets as a top covering, and the pillows were too soft. The light above the mirror in the second bathroom didn’t work either. I speak English, but the only working direct phone line was all Spanish. I was trying to call to get the floors cleaned and the light fixed so I could do my makeup in private with proper lighting. It didn’t ruin our lovely vacation, but all I expected was for things to be clean and working. Is that too much to ask?
It was easy for one person to hold the elevator and front doors open together while carrying groceries, and the place was nicely decorated with a great PCB location and beautiful beach and sunset views. But the layout is a problem. The front door of 1105 Seychelles is inside the elevator lobby, and the tiny second “bedroom” has a window facing three elevators. It’s noisy and doesn’t feel reliably private, so you’d need to put everyone in the master bedroom and living room to avoid that space. When we raised our concerns, the hosts said, “We have had hundreds of visitors and no complaints on that.” I guess we’ll be the first.
The broken bed in the master bedroom made it impossible to sleep normally. The frame was so badly damaged that I had to use a car jack from my car to prop up one side and sleep sideways. There were no curtains in the master suite, and the shower in the master bathroom was so backed up it couldn’t be used. We stayed in Unit 1701, and this has by far been our worst vacation because of the condo’s condition and the total lack of help from the Vacasa management team. I contacted Vacasa several times and went to the first-floor office, but three days later none of the problems had been fixed. Their customer service was next to nothing, and they’ve lost me as a customer for good.
After a 12-hour drive with our one-year-old, we were excited to see the condo, but opening the door was a huge disappointment. Room 202 was awful and filthy. The living room chair and couch were so dirty that we chose to sit on the floor, which wasn’t any better. The beds were uncomfortable, and there were no blankets, just a couple of sheets. We ended up using our beach towels to stay warm. It was a nightmare and cost us a pretty penny. Some outlet covers were missing. We told them we had a one-year-old with us, but it didn’t matter; nobody cared. They just want money. They don’t care how far you drove or that this was your first post-COVID vacation. So sad.
