This place is a dump. I’m in my Seafoam suites hotel room right now listening to two construction crews on the property jackhammer concrete all around me. The work starts at 7:45 a.m. every day, and nobody told me there’d be major construction or no pool during my stay. Huge rusty nails and other construction materials are scattered through the parking lot. The room smells like mold or must, and the throw blanket smelled so rank that I left it outside on a bench. The headboard isn’t attached to the bed frame or the wall, so it bangs loudly against the wall whenever you move. The shower has been dripping a steady stream of water for six days, and the bathroom tile is peeling and dark orange in spots.

The room was clean when we arrived and looked like the photos. We were a short walk from the beach, in a much quieter part of town, which was nice.

It was easy to get to both the beach and the area’s nightlife from here. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff made everything feel welcoming and simple. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. It’s a nice spot if you want time by the water and evening options nearby.

There aren’t many amenities, but that’s part of why this is such a good value. The location is excellent, with quick access to the beach and easy access to your room from the pool. The unit was fully renovated and very clean, the mattress was great, and we had no bug issues. There’s a pet walking area, and administration responded quickly, which helped put us at ease.
