The location made getting to cafes, shops, and restaurants on foot easy, and we came away feeling recharged. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful weekend. The house is beautiful and clearly cared for, with a guest living room stocked with books and board games. There was water, coffee, and tea available around the clock, plus afternoon treats like chocolate chip cookies and apple cider donuts. A mini fridge had seltzer, too. We booked the Naturalist room. The bed linens felt so soft, and while the bathroom was small, its fixtures were modern. The shower head was so nice I could have stayed under it forever, LOL. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled lovely. They leave a small tube of lotion, so I'd bring my own. Breakfast was amazing. Shannon and Joe made the dining experience feel special. Shannon's french toast was a favorite, and Joe paid close attention to the guests. I'd love to come back, and I'm grateful we got to spend our anniversary here. ☺️

The inn and grounds have a historic feel, while still meeting modern needs. We went to South Court Inn B&B for our 20th wedding anniversary, and felt looked after from the minute we arrived. They shared suggestions for local sights and restaurants, and there were thoughtful extras like snacks, treats, and tea and coffee each day. The three-course breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. We can't wait to return!

The three-course breakfasts were amazing, and the property itself is gorgeous. Shannon and Joe were wonderful hosts, with helpful details about the area and a warm welcome that showed in the little touches around the B&B in Luray. It was such a great stay, the best B&B experience we've had.

The breakfasts were filling, wholesome, and delicious, and Shannon and Joe took our dietary needs seriously. I'm vegetarian, and my boyfriend has a severe coconut allergy. They also knew the area well and gave us useful ideas for walking trails and restaurants. Service was prompt, friendly, and full of thoughtful touches. I'd recommend the inn and would love to return. We stayed at The South Court Inn from October 3rd through October 5th, 2025. Shannon welcomed us, showed us around, and the place felt inviting, well kept, and full of history. We'd ordered chocolate covered strawberries, which she brought to our room, along with a glass of wine for me and a Pilsner beer for my guest, as requested. We were in “The Exhibitionist” room. The bed was clean and comfortable. I would've liked a dresser with drawers, but the closet worked fine. The bathroom was modern and had heated floors. Each day there was a pastry or dessert for guests. We loved the chocolate chip cookies and apple cider doughnuts. There was also a mini fridge with flavored seltzers, plus a Keurig with different coffees and teas.

The house's architecture and decor are beautiful, and all the little details helped me forget the outside world and settle into the moment. Shannon and Joe were great hosts, somehow around when needed but never in the way. Shannon also gave me plenty of recommendations tailored to what I like. I wanted the comfort of a home cooked breakfast with the luxury of a hotel, and this B&B delivered. My mornings started with a coffee tray in the room, then a three-course breakfast. A zen weekend here was the best treat I could've given myself, and I plan to make it an annual one.
