Comfort Inn And Suites Pryor

I drove 11 hours on Feb 3rd hoping to sleep decently before another 13 1/2-hour drive, but I couldn't even stay. At nearly 11 p.m., the lot had no open spaces and parties were happening in two different areas. I'm handicapped, and all three accessible spaces were occupied by heavy work trucks. No one was at the desk when I tried to check in; it took nearly 20 minutes and a call to the number on the counter to get help. The clerk said nothing could be done about parking, so I had to stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express. As a Choice Privileges member, I found this unacceptable. The lot was overfilled and the hotel was over occupancy standards. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.

At checkout I watched the front desk give a replacement key card to a guest who'd lost theirs without asking their name or checking ID. They didn't even do the basic check that the person belonged in that room. That felt so unsafe, and I'm sure it goes against policy. My own smoke-free room smelled strongly of smoke the whole time. The bathroom had mold in several places, and the mattresses, walls, and whole room felt dirty. Worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. I wish I could add the photos.

We were exhausted and just wanted clean things, but after finding hair in the tub, a messed-up bed skirt, and red gooey stuff like candy on the blanket, we went downstairs to ask. The man looked for another room with a jacuzzi, but there weren't any. I asked only for clean items. He wanted us to come take pictures, so we told him he could follow us upstairs. We found a baby roach in the room, and he wouldn't give us a partial discount. It was either a full refund or nothing.

Roaches in the room, a toilet that only flushes every other day, and carpets that look like they haven't been cleaned in five years. It feels like every part of this hotel needs work. Ownership seems to make an effort, but I don't think they care; they make money and that's all that matters to them. The low price is tempting, but you'll understand it as soon as you walk into the room. Bring roach spray. I have photos but can't find a way to post them. Don't stay here.
