Courtyard by Marriott North Seattle/Lynnwood

Ed and Olivia made our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Lynnwood feel special from the start. They gave us wonderful service and went out of their way to help. Our room was comfortable, clean and well organized, and they surprised us with an upgrade for my boyfriend’s birthday. The team clearly put effort into making the visit memorable, and I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.

The staff were really nice and accommodating, but the room was dark and humid, with mold in the bathroom. Breakfast choices were very expensive. Doing one load of laundry cost $25 and required their app, even though there was no laundry service involved, just use of the machines. Maybe it makes sense if you have lots to wash, but it felt like a rip-off for a single load. We’re here through Thursday, but next time we’re in town we’ll pick a different hotel.

We’ve stayed here many times over the years because it’s near several veterinary specialists. It’s pet-friendly, the rooms are kept clean, and the rates are reasonable. There’s also a long paved path and a big grassy area for pets. As a pet owner, I couldn’t ask for more, and staying near the specialists gives us real peace of mind.

The hot tub was barely lukewarm when we’d been hoping to soak our aching joints. Another couple told us they’d reported the problem earlier, but the front desk seemed surprised when I mentioned it. Our worst Marriott stay so far. Room 108 was also a bad choice because the elevator noise was relentless, so don’t take it at full price unless there’s no alternative. We like Marriott and might return, but not to that room, and hopefully the hot tub will be working better.
