Econo Lodge At Six Flags

The location works great for Six Flags, and parking is free within walking distance of the park. I always enjoy staying here. The rooms are clean.

The man at the desk was friendly enough, but I wouldn't suggest staying here unless you're truly desperate. From outside, the lodge looked dated and a little sketchy, but we decided to try it anyway. Once we saw the rooms, we headed back out into the night to find somewhere else. There were cigarette burns in the comforter, questionable stains on old, deteriorating furniture, and the rooms just felt poor quality. It's not the absolute worst place around, but I'd make other plans.

It's close to Six Flags, but the place is run down and poorly maintained. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, with visible mold and mildew. There were roaches everywhere. Overnight, the air conditioner leaked and left a huge puddle on the floor.

We won't come back. The mattress hurt my back, the flat pillow was uncomfortable, and the comforter had holes. The carpet was dirty and held together with duct tape, the remote was sticky, and the room smelled like marijuana. There were four of us but only three towels. When my husband asked for another, he had to hand over the three dirty ones first. The phone cord was missing and the hairdryer didn't work. He also asked the desk for a tampon for our daughter and was told to go buy some across the street. Other hotels offer things like toothpaste, toothbrushes, or tampons, but this one didn't.
