Lake View Hotel

Will at the front desk was the best, so helpful and full of information about the island. The whole team went above and beyond, and Byron kindly brought our bags to the room. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the views from our room were amazing. Everything was beautiful and super clean. We had a dream stay at the Lakeview Hotel and loved every part of it. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked late but still got a great rate on a two-queen room with a lake view, and the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a turret. The young woman at the front desk was helpful and very nice, and the bellhop was friendly too. Great hotel. It’ll be the first place I look at when we return to the island.

Fort Mackinac, Grand Hotel, and many other major sights were within walking distance. Bike rental shops are within a block, so getting to places farther out, like the arch and mission point, is very doable too. The kids loved the pool, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub, and both were just the right temperature. Our room was very clean with lovely decor, and the staff and management were friendly, helpful, and professional. We had a wonderful stay at LVH.

The rooms were clean and the location was nice, but the noise at night was too much for us. On the first night, things were so loud for several hours that around 3 am I asked the overnight desk clerk if there was a construction crew working in the room above us. The next night, kids were running in the hall and playing loudly after quiet time. Another couple we spoke with was also complaining about the noise. I can’t recommend the hotel with that much disruption.
