I traveled on my own and had a one-bedroom oceanfront room, right above the waves. It was spotless and comfortable, with very cold air conditioning, ceiling fans, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of linens. I didn't need to ask for anything. The pool and hot tub were amazing, and the grounds were well kept. Diane and the owner were both so nice and easy to talk to. It's independently owned and charming, with a spot right by the beach. I hardly needed a car. There are two great restaurants across the street and a convenience store a block away, so everything I needed was close by for a really relaxing vacation. Screwies does breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks, while Dockside Dave's has lunch, dinner, and drinks, with indoor and outdoor seating. The grouper and scallops at Dave's were so good. Thanks, I WILL be back!

We had four people and booked the two-bedroom suite. It had a full kitchen, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and a deck overlooking the courtyard and beach. The room was great, and the owner was super friendly and accommodating. Loved this resort, which is connected to schooner hotel. I'd definitely stay again!

We paid for a room for six over the holiday weekend, but ended up next door at Schooners, which has the same owners. The room was smaller and only slept four, with a cot for the extra people. When we asked for more than two towels, we were told they only provide two at a time. Parking was another problem. The lot is across a four-lane highway and is shared with people visiting nearby bars and restaurants, so getting our things to and from the room meant crossing the road several times a day. We never even got to stay at the hotel we booked. It was a horrible experience, and they won't get our business again.

The front desk upgraded us to just the right room, and the staff were really friendly. We just stayed here and will definitely return. I've already recommended it to family and friends. Only wish the pool stayed open later. 😁😁😁😁

I loved this place so much that I got married here. The atmosphere and sunsets are lovely, and there was even an awesome magic show!
