Cambria Hotel St Petersburg-Madeira Beach Marina

We booked a room at the last minute and were glad to find an ocean location. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and it's a nice place, but problems were apparent as soon as we pulled into the check-in area. The hotel's floor plan seems poorly configured and needs to be reworked for better efficiency. Hallway noise was constantly annoying, with people talking and doors slamming. The hallway smelled of marijuana when we arrived. The bar across the street sounded like a rock concert and its loud music carried into the room. I assume the town has no noise ordinance. The $25 valet parking charge is unreasonable and feels old-fashioned; it should be eliminated.

We spent the first four days of our vacation here. The rooftop bar and pool were really nice, and the third-floor bar was awesome. There's also a restaurant on the first floor, not part of the hotel, with great food and drinks.

My wife and I came for our anniversary, and I can't thank the team enough for what they did for us. I won't spell out exactly what happened, but it made for the greatest experience. Our room had an amazing view, the hot tub was actually hot, the rooftop bar made great cocktails, and the valet staff were on their game. Thanks for running such a tight ship!

The room was clean, and the staff were accommodating. The rooftop restaurant and bar, along with the pool, were very cool and clean, with great service. The third-floor restaurant and bar were nice too, and the staff were friendly. On the first floor there's a separate bar and grill, not affiliated with the hotel, that was clean and had good food and great service.
