The Cottages at Madeira Beach/Manatee

The pool was really cool and clean, and the beach is just a block away. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance too. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. I’d only suggest better shower pressure and lighting in the BBQ area. Besides that, I’d recommend it 100%!

I got here from CT last night and walked across to the beach today. Just beautiful! I love it here. The cottages are lovely, comfortable, and so peaceful. One thing, dogs should be on leashes. A big, loud dog was barking at me as I walked past the pool area. If I’d had my small dog with me, I would’ve been concerned.

We’ve stayed here three times, but this visit was a horrible experience and things have gone downhill. Nobody told us there was construction. The tables, chairs, tiki hut, and grills were all removed, so there was nowhere to sit outside. The shower was awful and leaked everywhere. We called the manager Micheal several times, but he never called us back. We’ll find somewhere else to stay, and we won’t use Resort Rentals again because they just didn’t care about the problems we were having.

We had one of the little cottages at the end. It was cute, cozy, and clean, and the pool area with its tables and chairs gave two adults and a child plenty of room. The beach is a short walk away, with shopping and restaurants close by too. We’ll definitely come back!
