A burst plumbing pipe at home meant we needed somewhere to stay while it was being fixed. I was traveling with my almost 2 year old, and had already decided against another motel because the area didn't feel safe for my family. The Assistant manger got us a room quickly and was so accommodating. She even brought bottled water to the room and let us take fruit so I could give my baby a snack and get her down for a nap. Everyone we met was so kind. The buffet cook made sure my kids had hot, fresh eggs, got the waffle griddle ready, and offered fresh fruit, muffins, toasts, bagels, and different kinds of Oatmeal. The rooms were very clean, with plenty of towels, linens, soaps, and shampoos. I appreciate everyone making a stressful situation feel less stressful. The staff were amazing.

The Marriott portion of our Christmas and New Years stay was as pleasant as ever, but the “Primestay” IHG/Candlewood side went downhill fast after the ownership change. Most of the breakfast buffet was gone on day one, the only computer in the small business center stopped working, and a car sat abandoned in the lot with no plates and a door hanging off its hinges. Nobody did anything about it. On our departure day the hotel wifi stopped working too. After we got home, I noticed a strange $200 charge on my card and couldn't find a phone number to resolve it. Stay away.

Our stay was pleasant enough, but Katie Vick at the front desk made it exceptional. I needed to print my speech for my sister's wedding on Saturday and couldn't get the printer to work. Katie asked me to email it so she could print it; when she couldn't get it to print either, she hand wrote it for me. She was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. I'd recommend staying here for the experience she provided.

The room key kept locking me out during my 7 nights here. Every day I had to get the card reactivated at the front desk. I tried keeping it in the sleeve, in my credit card wallet, and in a pocket in my laptop case, but it still lost its magnatism. The facility also needs major renovation: the loose kitchen faucet moved all over, some lamps had rust, carpet seams were coming apart and the floor smelled like it needed a good cleaning. The toilet pipes need attention too. It shouldn't take two flushes for urine or four for #2. The house maids cleaned daily and did a great job, and the front desk staff were helpful. They deserve the star I gave for service. Even so, I wouldn't return or recommend a long stay. There are plenty of other options nearby.

This place needs a deep clean and a refresh. During our 4 nights, 5 days, the room had fruit flies, broken towel hooks, and tears in the carpet. The keys didn't work when we arrived, and there wasn't a hairdryer, so I went to work with wet hair on the first day. They did bring one later. I'd choose a different Marriott nearby.
