Days Inn by Wyndham Madisonville

Great location, and the front desk service was good. The problem was the floor in our room. After walking around in socks, we found them filthy, as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

We planned a Valentine’s Day getaway and chose this place for a swim. I called before booking to ask if the pool was heated and was told it was, but when we dipped our feet in, it was freezing, so we didn’t swim. The staff were friendly, but I wasn’t impressed for $100. A dog across the hall was also barking loudly.

The staff were super friendly, and the swimming pool was great. The first room wasn’t good, but they switched me to a cleaner one without any hassle. There’s an Asian restaurant attached. The one thing that bothered me throughout my stay was the smell of weed.

The room was clean, cool, and quiet, and we got a really restful night’s sleep. The check-in staff member was friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding about my travel trailer and service dog, and found us a room that worked perfectly. There’s a Pepsi machine too, which my husband loves. Great value and a nice place to stay.
