Heritage Inn Mahomet

The bed was comfortable, and everything felt clean. We even liked the black light above the bed because it let us check just how clean the room was. Pretty clever. For a motel, this was about as nice as we could have hoped for. It looks like it had been run down before, but the current owner seems to be putting effort into repairs and updates.

The rooms weren't what I expected, but they felt like home for my little family. It's a blessing to have this place here. The location is great, and it was quiet and comfortable. Thanks to everyone at the hotel, you were great. If we need a place again, I'll see you.

I was wary because of the one-star rating and old bad reviews, but those were from years back, when Heritage Inn had another owner. The young couple who own it now have renovated a lot. They haven't updated the website because they don't know how, apparently. Parking just 10' from the door was a treat, and the clean room had everything I needed, including a refrigerator, microwave, and separate dining area. It was quiet, even though the highway was only a block away. Across the highway I found the best Mexican restaurant I've ever enjoyed, and Walgreens is right behind the motel for supplies. Heritage Inn can be tricky to spot on a side street off the highway, but it's worth finding. I’d just spent the night before on the third floor of a 4-star motel for $165. This convenient, clean, quiet place was $65. Gary, Northern Wisconsin

It kept me warm, clean, and safe during my stay. The room was clean, the electrical worked, and the water was hot without any leaks. Like Google says, it's a 1 star motel.
