Sheraton Great Valley Hotel

Getting guests between the hotel and venue was my biggest worry, but the Sheraton Hotel’s trolley made it easy. It was spotless, kept everyone on schedule, and its climate control was a lifesaver during a hot, rainy September afternoon and night. They even added rides so everyone could get back. It was professional, responsive, and worth every penny. We booked a room block for our September wedding, and Kerry, the sales coordinator, made the process effortless. She set up a custom booking link that worked perfectly and handled every hiccup with patience. Staff let us drop off welcome bags early, arranged early room access for our parents, and were accommodating to our late-night after-party in the conference room. The personal service, especially Kerry’s, made this a stress-free home base for our wedding.

Truman’s hospitality was the best part of our stay. He went out of his way to look after our team while we were in town for work and made sure we had what we needed. His helpful attitude made the visit enjoyable. The hotel itself is old and feels run down, and could use restoration and updates.

The bed was comfortable and the TV streamed, so those parts were fine. But maintenance is needed throughout the hotel, with lots of stains and discoloration that looked like liquid damage. The pull-out bed was so disgusting it made my kid cry. My teenager said its mattress looked like something a homeless person would sleep on outside, not in a hotel, and slept in her day clothes all night. We were there for one night. I booked because the website showed a nice breakfast, but there was none when we arrived. I couldn’t find the ice or water machines either. I filled my bottle in the fitness room, but still couldn’t find ice.

The hotel was clean and in a perfect location, but I wish I’d known before arriving that renovations had closed the kitchen and bar. There were only two regular coffee pods in the room for my husband and me, so I had to ask the cleaning lady for more.
