It’s a beautiful place to visit, and the condo was spacious with plenty of room to sleep. Some things are starting to look worn and could use an update. There was no washer or dryer, and we also had to go a couple of days without hot water.

Unit 24 has a nice cottage feel in the living room and plenty of space. The water pressure is good, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was great. But it needs a lot of attention. The internet was poor, at least one bedroom had bedspreads and a mattress cover that didn’t fit, and the pillows were stained and yellow under their cases. The bedrooms are dated, and the showers need a thorough cleaning since nothing is white anymore. The oven needs work, too. The single screw holding its door together fell out, and the outer part with the handle came away from the inner part while I was using it, so I had to put the hot door back together mid-use.

We had six other people with us, and there was room for everyone. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are really spacious, so this is high on our list for another trip. It’s across from the 24hours Vons shopping center and about a mile from the Village.

Our stay in Unit 17 was disappointing. It hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived, and the popcorn ceiling had water stains and felt spongy. Maybe that’s a health concern? During the last three days of our vacation, they started reroofing the unit, with roofing paper and nails falling on the balcony and in front of the condo.

The area is beautiful, and the free shuttle takes you wherever you need to go. The house also stayed warm enough for us during the winter. We’re having a blast, even with a bunch of problems I hope someone fixes. The kitchen is nice, but having it and the living room upstairs is awkward. When the kids come back from playing in the snow, the stairs get wet. The listing says the house sleeps 10, but the kids wouldn’t have had enough places to sleep if we hadn’t brought an air mattress. And nothing seems to work: the WiFi comes and goes, the DVD player didn’t work, and even with the instructions, we couldn’t fix it. We called the WiFi company, and they couldn’t figure out the problem either.
