We were on a road trip and needed a comfortable overnight stop with our dog. The Imperial Hotel in Mammoth Lakes was easy to get to after a long day driving, and the staff were friendly. Our dog-friendly room had no carpet and didn’t smell like dogs at all, which we really appreciated. It was quiet, clean, and well maintained, with a very clean bathroom and great water pressure. I only wish breakfast were included, since that would save another stop in town on a long drive. We’d definitely stay again.

We appreciated getting fresh towels, but the cleaning felt unfinished. We’d asked for the room to be cleaned, yet the beds weren’t made and the used cups were still there. Hopefully they can pay more attention to these details, since they make a big difference to the guest experience.

The room was nice and clean, and there’s plenty of parking in a good location. The front desk needs training, though. She handed me a key and said I was in 204, then stopped there. I had to ask where the room was, whether there was an elevator, and if they had a luggage cart.
