Forest Creek #3, Pet accepted

At unit #44 in Forest Creek Condominiums @ 384 Joaquin Rd, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546, the rental didn’t match how Mammoth Vacation Rentals represented it. It was disappointingly clear on arrival that the pictures and descriptions made it look higher quality than it was. The unit was musty and very run down, and the photos didn’t accurately show its quality. Basic things, like the toilet seats, were in disrepair, and the back deck had broken down furniture. I understand that the owner of unit 44 may not maintain the property and that the rental agency may not control that, but the agency shouldn’t present a unit as stellar when it isn’t. I’m sure Mammoth Vacation Rentals may represent some good properties, but everyone should take a close look at how they depict them and do their due diligence before deciding to do business with them. The attached pic is an example of what you can expect.
