Is the hot tub still being renovated? Also, do you have to pay to use the table tennis and billiards in the game room?

There was plenty of space, parking, and a great price. I struggled with the old, musty smell, especially in the kitchen. It was a Vacasa rental.

I haven’t been back since Horizons 4 went corporate. I’d rather camp than stay somewhere that feels like a rude city instead of a charming small town. Before the takeover, prices were pretty decent, the place was clean, and the down-to-earth staff were friendly. The front desk manager was humble and sincere, and greeted you with a smile. Now the prices seem higher and cleanliness has slipped. It disappointed me to see what felt like greed take over. I’d been coming to Mammoth Lakes for decades and used to have a good experience.

The grounds are very well kept, and the place is close to everything and easy to get to. I’ve stayed at Horizons 4 for almost 15 years, and my wife’s family has been coming for nearly three decades. There’s something for every budget, and many units have been remodeled in recent years. I have very little to complain about, especially for the price.
