We were four people in unit K 100 and were glad to find a foldout couch. The child slept in the bunk beds, which have a 150-pound weight limit. Hot showers, but the shower head sits low. For the price, it was hard to beat. There's an electric stove and most of what we needed, though no dish soap or cutting board. The pans could use an upgrade, and the loft needs a new bed and frame. There was an old-style TV in the loft with just one channel; the living room TV had HDMI and channels with streaming platforms, so we got lucky and watched the NCAA championship. The jacuzzi was heavily chlorinated. We had one garage space, but it was too short for our crew cab truck, so we used an adjacent outdoor spot instead. Plenty of heat on nights in the 40s, with electric heat and a gas fireplace connected to the thermostat. Convenient for both Canyon Lodge and town. The building has paid laundry machines. There are a few quirks in the unit, but it was completely functional and had everything we needed without breaking the bank. Overall, a great stay.

We've stayed here for years, and this was a really upsetting experience. We followed the office's direct instructions to park in a particular garage and move the e-bikes up a foot so the car would fit. The next day, Matt, a manager at the complex, came over aggressively, yelled at us, accused us of lying, repeatedly swore at us, called us “douchebags,” and threatened to charge us. We calmly explained what the office had told us, but he said he worked there and didn't believe us. His hostile, intimidating behavior was completely inappropriate over a simple mix-up. The office later confirmed the parking mistake was theirs, not ours. Matt never apologized, and knowing he is a manager makes his behavior even harder to accept. He also put a large sticker on the driver's-side window that blocked our view and created a serious safety hazard, which is illegal. We couldn't remove it, so we drove with part of the view blocked to a hardware store and paid for tools to get it off safely. The ordeal caused a lot of distress and took more than an hour and a half out of our ski day. A minor parking issue became an extremely negative stay because of a manager's unprofessional and harassing conduct. We expect the incident to be taken seriously and addressed if we're ever going to stay here again.

This Labor Day weekend showed a serious lack of oversight by the management company. I've stayed at Mammoth Ski & Raquet club for years and was generally satisfied with the units and their cleanliness. Each condo is individually owned and can vary in condition and quality, so this review is specifically about the management company. We loved the modern furnishings and decor in unit #86, and the kitchen was well appointed. But on arrival, we found 15 loose nails and screws on the balcony, plus a loose hanging nail on a guardrail slat. With a 2-year-old in the family, that was dangerous and unacceptable. I emailed management late Friday afternoon and got no reply during our stay, through Monday. Construction workers were also there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with no advance notice about noise or dust. On Saturday, they were cutting stone countertops between the garage structure and Building K until 6:30pm. Dust clouds blew toward adjacent Building J, and reached units, including ours, with patio doors and windows open. That's a lung and health hazard, especially for guests who might be out and have no idea it's happening. Guests should have been told to keep their doors and windows shut. The front office staff didn't know about the construction, and there was no emergency contact for after-hours issues. For instance, they tell you to contact local police for a noise complaint after 10pm. That's unprofessional and unacceptable. For these major safety concerns, I won't stay at Mammoth Ski & Raquet club again, and I can't recommend it unless you're okay with this kind of management. There are plenty of other places at similar rates with better unit quality and more attentive management.

Condo #23 has just been fully remodeled, with a cozy modern-rustic look. It's a two-bedroom unit and only one flight of stairs to get there.

SCAM, READ BELOW! VIDEO EVIDENCE: Go to YouTube Search: Mammoth Ski and Racquet railing broken Horrible management and dishonest people. We stayed in room 34 with family over Christmas break. There were two bunk beds, but no ladder when we arrived. On my very first attempt to climb into one of the high bunks, its support railing broke and I fell to the floor. Looking closer, it had no screws holding it in place at all. The other bunk had already broken in the same spot, and it looked like someone had only glued it back together. There were screw holes, but no screws, and the piece was just sitting on top of the railing. We called management about the railing. The woman at the front desk said, “O, not again.” Then we walked through the issue with someone I believe was named MATT: the broken railing, missing ladder, missing screws, and the glued piece on the other bed. He said he'd have someone review it. As we were leaving, he sniffed and asked if we'd “smoked inside.” The agreement says smoking means an automatic fine of around $1,000. Was that a threat? We don't smoke, but nice try. A few days later, they asked us for $400 to repair the railing. Excuse me? It looked like 50 cents' worth of glue, and the problem clearly hadn't been fixed before we arrived. Later, management sent a photo of the incident with a ladder in it. Where did that come from, and why didn't Matt show us any ladders during the walk-through? They had also photographed the wrong broken bunk railing. Either they're neglecting to fix this or running a scam. Look at the pictures and video and decide for yourself. Someone before us had the exact same bunk bed problem. DO NOT STAY HERE!
