There was so much to notice at The Village at Mammoth, from the lights reflecting off the buildings to the teenagers laughing and taking pictures. I had room to wander without feeling rushed, and the whole place felt like a small, creative town. It made me feel young and connected again, even after twenty four years of life. The free gondola ride to Canyon Lodge was a nice bonus, and there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and scenic spots to explore without spending much. The buildings, walkways, and decorations all felt thoughtfully put together. Shop and gondola staff were welcoming and made getting around easy. I came here with people I know and have only visited once, but the festive atmosphere surprised me, even without snow. I’d recommend it to teenagers looking for somewhere to explore, take photos, and feel creative.

The late night request for an extra blanket really showed the level of care here. It arrived in our room within minutes, and Alexa Aguilar was kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel and atmosphere were lovely, cozy, and relaxing. This was our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We were very happy with everything and highly recommend it.

It’s a nice property in a central spot, but they don’t let you bring ski or snowboard gear inside. That feels pretty inconvenient and a little silly for a ski resort.

On weekdays, things are pretty quiet and slow. The gondolas are closed, though a few restaurants stay open.
