Outbound Mammoth

The hotel made traveling with our pets easy and enjoyable, which can be stressful elsewhere. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our room was clean, very comfortable, and a great place to relax after a long day. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff made us feel at home. We loved our stay at Outbound Mammoth and would happily return.

We really enjoyed the room and our stay, and it was easy to get around. The bus stop is right there, with a direct Red Line to the ski resort, and Grocery Outlet is across the street for snacks, drinks, or anything we forgot. The only disappointment was a resort fee that hadn't been clearly disclosed ahead of time. Better transparency would've been appreciated. Otherwise, everything was amazing, and we'd definitely come back 🙂

Our car broke down just before we arrived, and while we were trying to find help, Brian, the Director of Engineering, came over and offered to take a look. He spent much of the next morning helping us and fixed the problem. We're incredibly grateful to him and to the hotel for the experience. We hadn't planned to stay here, but were immediately pleased by how quick and easy the late check-in was.

I was traveling from Tahoe to LA and needed a pet-friendly place at the last minute. The mixed reviews had made me hesitate, but I'm really glad I booked. My dog was happy, and the room was quiet, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The front desk staff helped with my luggage and showed me to the room. Dinner at Bar Sierra was fantastic: I had the kale salad with salmon and a mezcal cocktail. Will greeted me from behind the bar and made great food and drink suggestions. I lived in NYC for 16 years, so I consider myself a food snob, and the chef knows what he's doing. After dinner I had wine at the wine bar and a great conversation with Chip, the Sommelier, who was friendly and really knowledgeable. Five stars all around.
