UNIT 36H wasn't the “Three bedroom holiday home” described in the listing. We stayed January 21-25, 2024, and found serious electrical problems: broken, illegal outlets and exposed contacts in wall and baseboard boxes. One box had no faceplate, another was smashed, and wiring was visible. A Romex supply line seemed to have been dropped from the ceiling by the fireplace in an unsafe way, and the similar drop-down power line for the ceiling TV also looked out of code. Turning on the light in the third “bedroom” tripped the breaker. That third room is a converted upper storage area with a low ceiling and a bed put in it. This is a two-bedroom condo with a converted sleeping area, not a three-bedroom home. The wall-mounted TV also hangs low and sticks into the living room walkway. I'm 5 foot 11 inches tall and gouged my scalp on its sharp corner. There were no entertainment devices: no cable or local TV channels, stereo, radio, or CD player. The listing promised free coffee, but there wasn't any. The curtains were bed sheets, and the condo's amenities were substandard for a place advertised as a “Three bedroom holiday home.” It's rougher and more dangerous than a Motel 6 room. The spa area was missing an exit door knob. I reported this right away to Sierra Park Villas and its booking agent, Abgoda, but it took more than a month to get a reply. We paid $1381.90 for the stay, and I asked for a PARTIAL refund.
