The condo we rented was decent and had been updated at some point, though the interiors and features will vary by unit. It had a deck, and the complex offers a private parking lot, laundry onsite, a hot tub, and a pool. The laundry, hot tub, and pool were all temporarily closed when we visited. It’s behind The Village shopping plaza, which is convenient, but crowds could get rowdy and noisy at times. The house also made a lot of settling noises, with loud creaks and pops mostly coming from the ceiling or roof.

A really nice place to stay, with shopping centers, bars, and restaurants nearby.

The complex itself is beautiful, and the location was everything. But our stay was spoiled by the onsite manager, Eric (if that’s really his name). He had a condo above the hot tub. On Friday night, a few of us were in the tub when he asked us to be quiet at 9pm. I politely asked when quiet hours began, and he said 10pm. He said he could hear us through his headphones. We turned off the jets and lowered our voices because we thought he was a guest and wanted to be considerate. At 10pm on Saturday, Eric came onto his balcony again and told us to get out because it was quiet time. We were willing to follow the rules, but after a long day off roading, we asked for 15 minutes to relax. The jets were off and we were whispering. About two minutes later, he came out and told us to “get the fu** out,” said we were breaking the law by staying, and, when we asked for the manager, said “I am the fuc**** manager” and threatened to call the cops. We got out and followed the rules, but his rude, unprofessional behavior left a bad impression and ruined what had been a great trip for a lot of people.

The location deserves five stars, but the amenities get three.

We picked this place for its location. It’s hard to beat for a reasonable Airbnb price, with the gondola to Canyon Lodge only about a five minute walk away.
