Woodlands

The community is quiet and nice, and being allowed to bring dogs is a plus. Our vacation at house #26, booked through airbnb, was another story. The owner Sally charged us more than $700 a night with service and cleaning fees, way over the normal price. We felt ripped off, but agreed because it was Christmas and this was the only available pet-friendly house. We didn’t have enough towels or toilet paper, some lights were out, and the kitchen supplies were dirty. Still, because it was the holidays, we gave Sally a good review. After we posted it, she wrote a bad review claiming the house was twice as dirty as usual. We thought the accusation was completely unreasonable and unsupported. We tried to keep the place clean, folded the blankets we used, and wiped the kitchen floor. We had also told her we were bringing our dog and got her consent, yet she complained about dog hair. I don’t know what she expected us to clean after we’d paid hundreds in cleaning fees. Were we meant to deep-clean the house? Airbnb won’t let me edit my review, so I’m posting this on Google instead. Avoid booking house #26!

A nice condo with plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably. It’s easy to get to the grocery store, trolley stop, and Village area. Summer rates are great, and there’s plenty of parking.

You can walk to food, shops, and the shuttle from here, and the parking and layout are both great. The complex is a little dated, but still nice.

It’s quiet, cozy, and well kept, with friendly people around to chat with. I always look forward to coming back.
