Eau Resort & Spa

The lanai rooms were a great fit for us, bright, modern, comfortable, and only steps from the beach and pool. We spent our days by the water, where staff brought delicious food and drinks so we could properly relax. We’d choose those same rooms again. From the valet’s warm greeting to Chris welcoming us at reception, the service made the trip feel special. One team member even took us by golf cart to dinner. Our adult kids were greeted with cookies and champagne, which helped make the stay memorable. We spent Thanksgiving at Eau Palm Beach with family, and the whole experience was fun and luxurious, just what we’d hoped for. We’ll be back, and it’s become a new family tradition.

We’ve come to Eau Spa for four years to enjoy the spa, but the service has slipped each year. It’s reached the point where we can’t justify returning. I tried to give this feedback privately through the emailed survey, but it wouldn’t let me continue, so I’m posting it here. The basic etiquette and communication guests should be able to expect at a place presenting itself as luxury were missing. Staff seemed untrained in how to explain things, speak with guests, or offer help. The general service was shocking and barely tolerable. It felt increasingly like the spa was charging luxury prices while pretending to provide a luxury experience. Anyone familiar with true high-end service, or even someone trying it for the first time, would notice the gap. Staff across the property, from spa attendants and food runners to concierge and masseuses, came across as rude, disorganized, incompetent, and unprofessional. They didn’t seem trained for this level of hospitality. I’d suggest having a local luxury institution such as Four Seasons or Breakers provide a full staff education and orientation. Florida has a large hospitality industry, and finding people who want to be there and are qualified or teachable shouldn’t be hard. This leaves me feeling the EAU doesn’t see the problem as urgent or seem invested in the guest experience. We won’t return, though I wish everyone the best of luck.

I came down from NJ to get away from the cold and unwind, and had a wonderful spa visit. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to use the spa, though there’s a $250 minimum purchase. I really enjoyed my hydro facial. The place was classy and extremely clean, and the staff were professional and welcoming. I can’t recommend it enough.

After our spa visit, we sat outside and went to Breeze Oceanfront Kitchen. It’s a real gem, with a beautiful beachfront setting and lovely ocean views. The food was delicious, service excellent, and the details made the meal feel elevated. A relaxing, refined, memorable dinner. Earlier, our New Year’s Eve pedicures at Eau Spa with Magda and Rosa were flawless. They took their time, paid close attention to detail, and made us feel completely pampered. The serene setting and exceptional service made it all feel indulgent. A perfect way to welcome the New Year. Can’t wait to go back!
