Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown

We only drove up from southern NH to relax in the jacuzzi and then go out for dinner, so the hot tub was the main reason for the trip. A big storm came after we booked, and when we tried to cancel, they wouldn't let us. Once we arrived, we found the hot tub was broken, and nobody had told us. We would have stayed home during the storm if we'd known. The location is nice, close to good food and attractions, but I'm pretty irritated.

For baseball fans, some rooms look out over the Fisher Cats field, with a great view from center field. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the shower pressure is good. Staff are always friendly and helpful. This is consistently a great stay for me, and it's still my hotel of choice.

My family and I love this place, especially because of Olivia at the front desk. She's a lovely young woman, so charming and polite, with such a sweet, warm manner. She really is a Godsend. The hotel is lucky to have her and should do everything it can to keep her. I'd love to meet her parents and tell them what a wonderful job they've done raising someone who sets such a great example for her generation in customer service. She's also stunning.

We nearly walked out, but it was already late, and changing rooms or finding another hotel didn't seem worth it. The place was moldy and absolutely filthy, like nobody had really cleaned it. We put our own jacket over the bed and slept terribly. It was a miserable night. Calling this a 3-star hotel feels way off, it's more like a 1-star motel, worse than Motel 6.
