Bluemont Hotel

Debra was amazing. My niece was tired and cold, and Debra kindly offered to take her for hot chocolate. It might seem like a small thing, but we really appreciated the gesture. The world needs more people like her.

There was always someone at the front desk, and the whole team, including the cleaning crew, was great. The hotel was clean and well lit, which helped make our family trip enjoyable. We picked it because it's pet friendly and went straight to the restaurant in the lobby when we arrived. Our waitress was wonderful. There aren't many food options, but what we had was delicious. I asked for an unseasoned beef patty to take to my puppy, and she packed it up in little bite-size pieces for him. There's also a separate lobby bar with delicious drinks. Free breakfast is served from 6:30-9:30.

Our room was spacious and clean, and even though it faced the street, we didn't hear traffic. Aggieville and the campus are right across the street, and parking was easy. The whole hotel was very clean. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Manhattan.

Rebekah at the Bluemont front desk deserves five stars for service. The hotel isn't in its former loyalty program anymore, but she listened to my concerns and came up with a solution that went well beyond what I expected. She understands how to keep guests. With staff like her, the ownership transition is in good hands.
