Car trouble left us needing a couple of unexpected nights in Manitou Springs last Summer, and we hadn't planned for the extra time in CO. Red Wing was affordable and felt safe, with a delightful owner. Garden of the Gods was within walking distance, and the free bus into downtown Manitou Springs stopped right beside it. For the size and location, it cost much less than an Air-Bnb. A five-star budget stay for us, and we'd happily return.

We were glad we chose this little motel. The bed was really comfortable, and the water pressure was amazing. The grounds and our spotless room were so clean, and you can see how much care went into decorating each one. The owners and management clearly love the place. A hidden gem.

The rooms were cute, very clean, and in a great location. The A/C never came on, even after I followed the instructions and set it to 65. Luckily, the nights were cool enough to open the window. There was no cable, either, and the internet was spotty at best.

Manitou Springs made a much better base for us than busy Colorado Springs, and the hotel was just minutes from Garden of the Gods. On our first morning we rode the Cog Train to the top of Pike’s Peak. My wife and I had a great honeymoon stay, even though we booked at the last minute. Check out Mo’s Diner, too. We don't think you'd be disappointed.

We got locked out of our room around 10 or 11 pm, long after office hours, but the woman answered as soon as we called and let us back in without delay or complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very clean. Garden of the Gods and restaurants are only minutes away. Great location and amenities for a lovely price. We had a great time at Red Wing Motel.
