The staff were friendly and the room looked clean at first, but I found a serious hygiene problem in the bathroom. There was a cockroach infestation, and several roaches fell out of the hair dryer. This needs prompt attention so proper sanitary standards can be met. I would have included photos of the cockroaches squashed on the wall, sink, mirror, bathroom floor, and elsewhere, but this establishment won’t allow photos with reviews.

This was a budget-friendly, no-frills stay and, overall, it was fine. The room smelled as though it may once have been a smoking room, but the AC cleared it. The furniture wasn’t great, though it was usable, and breakfast was included and okay. There’s no elevator and no ground-floor room. The first floor is half a flight down, but there was a ramp. The place was clean.

We had a really good stay, with easy accessibility and an almost perfect balance of quality and price. Sarah gave us a very warm welcome and took great care of us.

Looks newly remodeled, and it’s very nice and affordable. The location right off the highway is convenient. Pull in by the Happy Chef, since finding it could be confusing.
